Michelle set up her production company, Huat Films, in 2011. Her first movie, Already Famous, was one of the top 10 highest-grossing Chinese movies in Singapore that year and was selected to be Singapore's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards. She recently wrote, directed and produced her third movie, Lulu The Movie, which hit $2 million at the box office. But Michelle sees herself as #SGFanBingBing and feels "The Michelle Chong Channel" on YouTube is her biggest endeavour yet.
Wendy has recently moved into a new apartment when one day she sees her tech-obsessed, young neighbour, Jun An, locked out of his house. Wendy tries to help him out but can’t through to him as he is glued to his phone. As she spends more time with him, she realises that this obsession has a violent streak.
With private-hire beating traditional taxis for patrons Seng, an elderly taxi driver, struggles to get enough passengers to keep him and his wife financially stable. As he attempts join up with the private-hire companies, his lack of understanding regarding technology is holding him back. This leaves him in an all too real position of being displaced by technology with no other option.
